Oracle 11i supports a native Oracle interface for Wireless Data Collection via Telnet. Prior to 11i, Oracle customers often bolted on 3rd party Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Where full featured WMS functionality was not required, they developed their own custom interfaces into Oracle modules or used a 3rd party middleware provider.
Oracle has released its own tightly integrated WMS Module for the 11i customer base. Now, Oracle users can have a completely integrated Supply Chain solution.
